What is Coaching?

Coaching is a processes that enable both individual and corporate clients to achieve their full potential. Coaching share many similarities, so it makes sense to outline the common things coaches do.
  • Facilitate the exploration of needs, motivations, desires, skills and thought processes to assist the individual in making real, lasting change.
  • Use questioning techniques to facilitate client's own thought processes in order to identify solutions and actions rather than takes a wholly directive approach.
  • Support the client in setting appropriate goals and methods of assessing progress in relation to these goals.
  • Observe, listen and ask questions to understand the client's situation
  • Creatively apply tools and techniques which may include one-to-one training, facilitating, counseling & networking.
  • Encourage a commitment to action and the development of lasting personal growth & change.
  • Maintain unconditional positive regard for the client, which means that the coach is at all times supportive and non-judgmental of the client, their views, lifestyle and aspirations.
  • Ensure that clients develop personal competencies and do not develop unhealthy dependencies on the coaching relationship.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the process, using objective measures wherever possible to ensure the relationship is successful and the client is achieving their personal goals.
  • Encourage clients to continually improve competencies and to develop new developmental alliances where necessary to achieve their goals.
  • Work within their area of personal competence.? Possess qualifications and experience in the areas that skills-transfer coaching is offered.
  • Manage the relationship to ensure the client receives the appropriate level of service and that programmers are neither too short, nor too long.

Life Coaching is transformational.

What is a Life Purpose?  (Children-Adult)

What is a Life Purpose? The word purpose means to have intentional results. When we are on purpose, we are making a conscious effort to be or create something. Usually what we really want to be or do seems out of reach, "impossible." But we must remember that the word "impossible" with an apostrophe is actually I'm (I am) possible. And you are!A clearly defined life purpose provides meaning, direction, and significance. Your life purpose answers two essential questions: Who do I want to be? & What do I want to do? When we are living from our true soul's purpose, we feel more alive---filled with excitement, joy, and inner peace---in a word "contentment." We are more connected to one another as human beings and more content with who we are and what we do. When we are "on purpose" we tap into a higher power, we have supernatural support! The best things in life seem to be naturally attracted to us. When we are not on purpose, we try to do it all alone! 5 Steps to Discovering Your Soul Life Purpose 1. Awakening This is step where you awaken to the fact that you have a bigger game to play in life?a unique personal and professional purpose. If you are awakening, you are beginning to notice a restlessness in your soul, you may be having trouble sleeping, getting intuitive messages, having symbolic dreams. 2. Awareness This is the step where you become aware that you need to find out exactly what your life purposes are. If you are becoming aware, you are wanting to find out more about what else there is to life, desiring more fulfillment and meaning, and feeling more awake about who you really are. 3. Acceptance This is the step where you accept your life purposes and come to terms with what it means to you and the world. If you are in acceptance, you are beginning to embrace the idea that your life has purpose, realizing it is your job to be it and do it, and wanting to find out how. 4. Articulating This is the step where you articulate your life purposes by putting them into words. If you are articulating, you are putting in words what it is that you are meant to be and do, starting to share it with others, and getting excited about it. 5. Acting This is the step where you take action by moving towards the fulfillment of your life purposes If you are taking action, you have begun making major personal and professional life changes that are more in alignment with who you are and what you are meant to do.

Anger Management Executive Coaching

for Executives, Physician, Lawyers and other professionals, focusing on communication, emotional intelligence, stress management, and anger management skills.  Focuses on enhancing emotional intelligence and assertive communication while introducing behavior strategies for identifying and managing anger and stress.
When people reach a certain level of success, they are less likely to be hurt by lack of skill, intelligence, or even personality than by other problems. What hinder these aspiring managers from moving higher are weaknesses in leadership behavior

Relationship Coaching

Relationship coaching takes the personal aspects of life coaching a step further by focusing on the purposeful creation of meaningful and fulfilling relationships based on individual qualities, desires and preferences. Relationship Coaching is completely different from analytical approaches such as counseling, therapy or psychiatric help.  One of the most important questions of relationship coaching is "what do you want your relationship to be like?? Or in other words what do you want to get out of your relationships, what kind of experiences would you like to have. In essence coaching is about getting you there - as a coach I will provide you with the understanding, tools and awareness to achieve your vision. In many cases I will also challenge your existing views or behaviors if they are likely to prevent you from reaching your goals. You may also experience things you have never experienced before.

ADD Coaching

The ADD coach offers support, guidance, and accountability, so that things actually happen!  ADD coach knows ADD from the inside out - - they "get-it."  ADD coaches base their work on a fundamental understanding
of how the ADD brain works. ADD presents some degree of deficit with concentration, memory, and regulating action. The result is often a set of day-to-day challenges that block one's ability to build the life they want - problem areas that block progress. But there are the ADD strengths as well, abilities such as: problem solving and imagination, creativity and love of learning, energy and passion, sensitivity to others, verbal abilities, humor and curiosity, diversity of interests, hyper focus and persistence.  ADD coach uses three powerful toolsto help manifest one's strengths to the demands of daily life. Collaboration, Knowledge, and Action.   ADD Coach works with the individual in three areas:1) Self-management strategies to neutralize areas of challenge; 2) Action plans to manifest strengths and interests; 3) Support systems to foster confidence, balance, and action. The essenceof coaching is the power of collaboration: working with others who have the expertise andunderstandingone need for change.  It's a partnership to bring out your best. You learn new ways to solve problems and move life forward.  The primary work of an AD/HD coach is to empower clients to speak, negotiate and better manage for themselves. Toward that end, there will be many occasions where, in helping the client achieve success, information would best be conveyed and strategies planned in cooperation with other individuals living and working with the client. In adult coaching, professional collaborations occur with the express written permission of the client. These collaborations are for the purpose of providing first-hand communication of details, information, assessments or observations, as well as, for establishing or fine-tuning goals, strategies and resources.

Peak Performance /Mental Skills Trainer (Sports Hypnosis)

Peak Performance depends upon many factors.  Some of the basic factors are motivation, the ability to attain and maintain concentrations, emotional stability and confidence.  There may also be specific factors relating to particular vocations such as interpersonal skills, multitasking, mental flexibility, etc.  One useful way of looking at work performance is to recognize that all factors related to our achieving our best performance are mediated by our brains. All sports performance depends, in part, on mental skills: the right level of "active relaxation," positive concentration, intuition, imagination, and total focus on the here and now, shutting out everything else.

Educational Therapy/ Skill Coaching

Educational therapy is an intensive educational intervention beyond what tutoring can provide. Students with learning challenges, or learning disabilities, including dyslexia, require educational therapy with a specialist trained in addressing learning disabilities.

Often, a student may be identified by a teacher, psychologist, speech and language specialist or school personnel as being a struggling learner. Otherwise, students who have:

Difficulty with maintaining concentration on a task (Attention Deficit Disorder),

 Problems remembering,

 Delay in learning language,

Problems paying attention,

Low self esteem regarding school performance and may be resistant to going to school, or participating in the normal childhood activities, or

To take an extreme amount of time and parent support to get homework tasks done.

We build the student?s awareness of his or her learning style and teach learning skills to assist the student in becoming a more independent learner. In this way, the student can use his or her strengths to best overcome or compensate for areas of weakness.

Family, Stepfamily and Single parent Coaching

This coaching is a means of supporting families to create a "purposeful" family. This is a family focused on values based living, direct communication, empowerment of all relationships in the family and experiencing joy in day to day living together. Family coaching opens possibilities for the family rather than just the individual. Family Coaching focuses on accelerating a families' movement towards a unified vision or goal. A Family Coach will also assist in establishing the groundwork by which the family successfully manages inevitable breakdowns as they occur without throwing the family into a fear based crisis and downward spiral. Coaching outcomes include:

  • Effective communication
  • Shared common values and mutual respect
  • Conflict resolution practices
  • Establish practices to achieve positive change and on-going results
  • Tolerance of individuality within the family relationship
  • Creating and experiencing joy as a family

A family coach is in partnership with the entire family. Family Coaching is not a therapeutic relationship. The family coach focuses on what the family wants and ways they can take action in a consistent manner to support the goals they declare. Family coaching is distinctive in that unlike working with individuals or a team in business, the coach must understand the dynamics within the family

Stepfamily counseling will enable your merged family to learn to live in harmony. Counseling will help develop a positive vision of your future, and address issues such as the conflict of loyalties, diverse discipline styles, prior spouses, visitation, conflict resolution and mediation. Some of the issues stepfamilies face today are the lack of understanding from others around them on how difficult being a stepparent or a stepsibling can be, and the lack of resources out there to help stepfamilies deal with problems not related to traditional home life.

Discover specific steps to help eliminate some of the unrealistic expectations stepfamilies have

  • Learn effective communication skills to address your needs and wants as an individual, a couple, and as a parent/stepparent
  • Create a team atmosphere to have mutual understanding of what is expected
